Mumbles big apple kiosk
Opened in the 1930's and located on the corner of mumbles road between mumbles pier and Bracelet bay. This quirky apple shaped concrete kiosk was originally created as an advertising initiative to promote an apple cider drink to visitors to the pier and surrounding beaches.
The company in question also had other “big apple” kiosks built in Wales, most notably Porthcawl and Barry but this is the last of it's kind.
The role of this kiosk has changed somewhat since the 1930's as it is now used to sell drinks, ice cream and beach items such as buckets and spades during the summer months.
