How do I create my own account?
Creating an account with GowerUK.com is free and easy to do.
Simply go to the 'create an account' page
here, fill in your personal details, email address, desired username and
password and click the 'create account' button.
You will then receive an email to your chosen address reminding you of your password
and a link to activate your account.
As soon as you click the link to activate your account you will directed to a thank
you page confirming your actions and a link for you to login.

How do I upload photos?
To upload photos you must go to your profile page and click 'upload' under 'your
latest photos'. Select a photo file to upload (this must either be a jpg, bmp, gif
or png file) and click upload.
You will be prompted to give the photo a title (for example 'a photo of oxwich bay').
Click 'Finish' and your photo has now been uploaded to the web site.

How do I show my photo on the Photo Gallery page?
Go to your profile page and click 'View all' under 'Your latest photos'.
Simply click "Add to gallery" for the photo you want to be added to the gallery.
You will then be directed to a page where you will need to choose the location where
the photo was taken via the drop down list and then place a marker on the map where
you took the photo. Click "Add to gallery" and your photo will now be shown in the
Photo Gallery.

How do I remove my photo from the Photo Gallery page?
Note: Doing this will remove all comments and information
associated with the photo.
Go to your profile page and click 'View all' under 'Your latest photos'. Click edit on the photo you want to remove and then click "remove this photo from the Gallery".

How do I view all of my photos?
Go to your profile page and click 'View all' under 'Your latest photos'.

How do I edit my photos information such as title and location?
Note: Editing of location is only available to photos
added to the Photo Gallery.
Go to your profile page and view all photos. You will then be presented with 'Edit'
options on each of your photos.

How do I delete Photos?
Go to your profile page and click 'View all' under 'Your latest photos'. You will
then be presented with a list of your photos. Each Photo will have a tick box on
the left hand side. To delete a photo, selected the photos tick box and click 'Delete'.
It is also possible to select multiple photos to delete.

How do I sell my Photos?
Note: You will need to have uploaded photos and added
them to the Photo Gallery in order to start selling. You will also need to have
an active paypal account ready to recieve payments.
Go to your profile page and click 'Sell your photos' under 'Your latest photos'.
If you have not setup your paypal merchant account, you will be prompted to do so
before you can continue. Once you have done that you will then see all of your photos
added to the Photo Gallery.
If you want to sell a photo, click 'Click here to sell this photo'. You will then
be presented with a page where you can add purchase options for your photo. You
can either add purchase options manually or you can add them from a pre-defined
group. Once your photo has atleast one purchase option, you can start selling your
photo. You can stop selling your photos at any time by clicking 'Stop selling this
photo' on the same page.

How do I setup pre-defined purchase options?
Go to your profile page and click 'Sell your photos'. Then click 'manage purchase
option groups'. This page allows you to add purchase option groups. Once you have
a purchase option group you can then add purchase options to that group by clicking
'Click here to add or edit options within this group'.

How do I create my own watermark for my photos?
All uploaded photos will carry the default GowerUK.com watermark. You can set your
own watermark by going to your profile page and clicking on 'Settings' under 'Your
latest photos'. You will then need to tick the tick box. A textbox will then appear
for you to type your watermark text. For example Copyright Joe Bloggs.

How do I create a blog post?
Go to your profile page and click 'Create New' under 'Your latest blogs'. You will
then be prompted to type a title for your new blog but don't worry, this can be
changed later. You will then be able to add content for your blog (e.g text and
images). You can add as many images as you want and they can be edited at any time.
It is also possible to add meta data to your blog such as keywords and a description
(this should be used if you want your blog to be better placed in search engines).

How do I edit and delete my blog posts?
Go to your profile page and click 'View all' under 'Your latest blogs'. If you have
created blog posts already then you can select the ones you want to delete and click
'Delete' to delete them. If you want to edit a blog post simply click 'Edit' on
the row of that blog post.
