Just dug this report out of my filing system from August 29th 2007. Me, my brother and father decided to go boat fishing on Sea-Jay (aka Paul Davies). He was quite busy as it was the end of August. He had 10 anglers including us 3. I can't remember what time we set off but it was quite early (around 7 or 8ish). The weather was prime for fishing, it was a sunny august day. It was my second experience on a fishing boat (the first being in 2006 in Ireland). It took me a while to get into it but once I did the hours flew by. We fishing around Oxwich/Three Cliffs first and then went around pwlldu/caswell/langland and finished off around the mumbles head. One lucky guy caught a tobe, although he was more experienced than I was. My fish count came to 11. 6 of which were dogs, 2 mackeral, 2 whiting and 1 Gurnard. It was my first time meeting Paul. Thought he was a cracking bloke and enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the following year!
