On Monday I turned on my T.V and thought I was seeing a drama set in Gower as I recognised Three Cliffs albeit on a very dull and cloudy day!
It was infact a new advert/ad campaign by ITV for ITV1.
It shows five childen walking along the beach from Oxwich towards Three Cliffs. They come across an old man on the beach, a woman bathing in the sea, a pelican and several small penguins. One of the children picks up a stone and throws it into the sky, piercing the grey clouds, allowing sunlight to shine on the group of children.
The advert is supposed to remind people of the "Brighter Side" of the channel.
I was a bit dissapointed to see them use footage of Gower at such a dull time of the year but another side of me was happy to see Gower being used by such a big media company.
