As reported in the Swansea evening post and other multiple news sources, John Hartson the former professional footballer has testicular cancer which has now spread to his brain.
I am very sad to hear this news. It is never nice to hear about someone suffering from this illness and because he was someone I used to watch playing football years ago. It goes to show that it does not matter how fit and healthy you are, everyone is vulnerable to cancer.
I would like to offer my support to John and his family during this difficult time.
