Broughton bay

Broughton Bay is a large stretch of sand located on the north west of Gower, around the corner from Blue Pool Bay. The beach is joined with Whiteford sands to the north so it is hard to give the beach an approximate length. The total length of the two beaches however is just over three miles.

The beach is backed by sand dunes and offers views overlooking the Burry estuary. Access can be gained by walking from Llangennith, which is approximately one mile south of Broughton Bay. It is also possible to walk around from Blue pool bay using the footpath and ofcourse from the conjoined Whiteford sands.
