Pobbles bay

Pobbles bay is a small secluded beach located just around the corner and to the east of three cliffs bay. When the tide is fully out, the two beaches join as one and it is possible to walk around to the other. The beach gets its name from the many Pobbles covering the top end of the beach.

Access to this beach can be gained from the village of Southgate. There is a footpath located next to Pennard golf course which leads straight to the beach although this does not have good parking facilities. Alternatively, heading further down into Southgate there is better parking (a National trust owned car park) located next to a convenient store and a coffee shop. Walking from this point will take a little longer but has much better views.
